The Beauty of the Gospel

We live in a very sinful world, run by the standards of the society where we can see multicultural people.

Conformity, Pressures, Discriminations, Persecutions.

These are some of the millions of people you will encounter everyday. Sometimes we are unconsciously caught in their flow, and we are seemingly getting away from someone, from God.

In this society-controlled world, how can you share the beauty of the gospel without being conformed to the norm and getting caught up with the different persecutions?

As a Christian, we should first practice the art of getting numb from these different persecutions being thrown to us. Always remember “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:11-12)

God knows we will be persecuted because of Him, but greater is our reward in heaven, we are more than blessed! He always say that we should just stand firm with our belief, because those who will, they will be saved.

Secondly, a Christian must not conform to the society. As Romans 12:2 says, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The world is being run by the society. They are the norms. We should be the ones that will fight these norms. We should have our distinction and uniqueness. It’s  letting them know who really is God through you. Just always remember, we don’t need to please everyone because only God is worthy of being pleased.

Through that, we can now have a good foundation of God in our lives. But still the questions lingers, how can we share the beauty of gospel?

Remember what was done 2000 years ago? For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). And it was all because of Jesus’ love for us. The keyword there is LOVE. God loves us so much that’s why He sent his only son for us to be saved. Isn’t that a great feeling, having someone that loved us? if you feel that overwhelming love in your hearts, never hesitate to share it to everyone. As Matthew said, Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). Let every person know how much God loves us. Keeping the love for yourself is like keeping your food just for yourself. That is great selfishness. I bet Jesus doesn’t want you to be selfish.

Also remember that you are doing this, not for the sake of being saved but for someone’s sake to be saved. You are sharing the love of God to them because you love them and you want them to know God and for them to accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

This is a command of God and the only way to show our love to Him is to fully obey Him and submit to Him.

Are you ready to share the beauty of the gospel?

God bless to you all!
