We are the Salt and Light of the world!

Wonder why we named our devotional blog “Salt and Light”?
Have you ever tasted a chicken cooked without any flavouring like salt? If so, then you have tasted the best tasteless food among all tasteless foods. And after eating, you feel dissatisfied right?
Wheever we eat, we always want the best food with the best flavours regardless of its physical appearance. We always want to fulfill our cravings and the desire of our tongues. Just like in life, we are always after something so flavourful that it will satisfy our desires.
According to Matthew, we are the salt of the earth. WOW! Can you imagine being like the salt, being a flavour? But how can we be the salt?
God created this world with full of flavours. But because of our sinful nature, the flavour of the earth is slowly disappearing. So we, Christians (the son of God) are given a task by our Father to bring these flavours back.
Our sole mission is to bring God’s kingdom back here. That is, by being a living testimony to everybody. By creating such an impact to our nation more than words.
Alongside this, we should also be the light that will cast all the darkness. Can you imagine walking without any light guiding you? This can be done by glorifying God in everything we do so they can see our good deeds and our God may be glorified and praised.
We simply named our devotional blog “Salt & Light” because we believe that in this way we can help transform our nation. So that all men will see how gracious and great God is.
REMEMBER: We are a rebel. We are one of God’s army. You think God can’t use you? NO! Actually, God never had a perfect army. What matters most is HIM. According to 1 Corinthians 1:28-29, God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human beingmight boast in the presence of God.
This is His way to show us how great His impact is in our lives. For actions speak louder than words.
Be the preserving agent and light for everyone so that they may see God’s grace within us! God bless! ♥
