Don’t worry, Be happy!

Matthew 6:25, 33

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes?

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Does worrying give us any optimistic view in life?

To worry means to feel uneasy or troubled. We usually plan things out to lessen the fear we feel every time.

Wait, so does it mean that to worry is to fear?

If we start being anxious about something, we are actually already developing fears in our hearts. As these fears materialize, we start planning things out because we also begin worrying too much about things.

So we say with confidence,“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

Why worry too much if He’s there guiding us through his light? He has promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us and His promises NEVER FAIL.

We have a Big God and He’s bigger than anything else. Nothing can ever overcome the greatness of our Lord.

So, why will I be afraid of tomorrow if there’s someone who can give me what I really needed?

The Lord said, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all things will be added to you.”  Let us make Christ as our priority. Surrender to Him and never worry about your life for He’s the one who have saved us from death.

Worrying will not give you safety, only anxiety. Have confidence in the Lord and He’ll do the rest for you!

God bless your day!
